Family plays a huge role in my life. As a child, I remember telling my parents that I want to be a business woman when I grew up. They supported my aspirations and pushed me to be the woman I am today. My parents, being from the Dominican Republic, have taught me the importance that our culture places on values such as family, community, and loyalty. We take care of others and hold our relationships close to our hearts. These principles translate into the work I do with my clients.
I am extremely passionate about helping other people and that is why I wanted to work at Edward Jones. The people I want to help most are hard-working professionals who have built a successful career. As someone who graduated as a first generation student, I believe I have a unique drive and dedication, which are qualities I also look for in my clients.
In my role I am able to help my clients work toward their long-term financial goals by leveraging my established process to understand what’s most important to them about their financial future. I’ve always wanted a job where I left a true impact on people’s lives, and now I can say I do.
