Walton joined the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women seeking to align her professional career and formal education in a way that complimented one another and her life changed in a way she never expected - she landed the position of Executive Director of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women. She started in her new role in August 2006.

Rosemarie began effecting change right away, drawing from her years of experience as full-time Church Secretary and Office Manager for Hope Missionary Baptist Church, a 1,500 member church with 26 ministries.
