Bi-County Mailing owner Greg Demetriou values her business acumen. Ellen excels at “helping our customers solve marketing problems… and is referred to others,” says Greg, who has known Ellen for twenty years. He emphasizes that “Ellen has improved business by being herself – warm, open and friendly – with a large network of relationships.”
People matter to Ellen, Greg added. Center board member and personal friend Sandy Hoffer agrees. “Ellen goes out of her way to help others... She is “always networking with a positive purpose of putting individuals together” to improve their respective businesses.
Ellen’s spirit of giving pervades all she does. And that includes her most important roles of wife, mother and “Grammy,” respectively, to husband Ken, son Kevin, daughter Diane, and granddaughters Meghan and brand-new Abigail Grace. As a yoga teacher she helps those coping with the symptoms of Dystonia, and she spreads yoga’s mind-body benefits by teaching classes at Harbor Lights Yoga Studio in
Ellen herself reports the benefits of Center membership. She says, “Not only have I obtained my three biggest clients through the Center... I am amazed at how many personal friendships have evolved as a result of my involvement in every committee over the past twelve years.”
