How an Applicant Would Attempt To Find A Job After Finishing College

Then

1. Graduate College

2. Buy Suits, Ties, White Shirts, Dress Shoes and other business attire

3. Type (on a typewriter) Resume & Cover Letter

4. Go to Library, make many copies

5. Go to Stationery Store, buy Clear Plastic Holder

6. Look up addresses of companies that you'd consider applying for employment

7. Put on a suit and tie and head into NYC on LIRR

8. Walk into corporations with Cover Letter and Resume and proclaim: "Good morning, I'm a recent college graduate. I was wondering who I would speak to about

a position here at your firm."

9. After about 200 attempts, finally get job interview for entry-level sales position at $14,000 plus commission

Now

1. Graduate College

2. Buy Khaki Slacks and Golf Shirts

3. Put together Resume and Cover Letter

4. Upload Resume onto CareerBuilder and Monster.com

5. Read Book on “How to Pass The Interview”

6. Wait for responses to your CareerBuilder or Monster postings
