Do You Have an Agenda? What to Take to a Meeting

Wondering what to take to a meeting? Over lunch, at a conference, for an initial consultation? No one likes surprises so take time to make an agenda. Include what you would like to discuss, what you expect to accomplish and the purpose of the meeting. It should be a quick, bulleted or numbered list for each person attending and provide space to make notes. Highlight important details which may be expounded upon during a conversation and most importantly, create a smooth transition from one topic covered in the meeting to the next.

It's a great take-away for your associates, and may save them time once back at the office after a long day. Keep in mind the recapping of your meeting may be one of ten things they have to download hours later, and you want to make sure the important details are still fresh in their minds.
