Ellen Cleary, Senior Account Executive at Bi-County Mailing in Farmingdale, has provided hundreds of companies with creative solutions to their direct mail marketing efforts. While she has handled more envelopes, postcards and stamps than anyone else you may know, she has also supplied her clients with a sense of comfort and reliability on many levels for many years.

Using her ingenuity, Ellen started her career in direct mail while in high school, typing Korean addresses on envelopes. No surprise that she became the best typist in school. After college she became the President's Assistant at a major electronics distributor in Syosset, servicing the aerospace industry, including Sperry, Grumman, Fairchild. Ellen returned to direct mail becoming Office
Manager at Wordmasters, Inc., a position she held for over 15 years. At the same time she started her own company, Com.Sett Services, to fill a void in services offered by Wordmasters. When Wordmasters closed, she joined her longtime friend and colleague, Greg Demetriou, at Bi-County Mailing.

While building her career and business, Ellen always found time to give back to her community. Over the years she has worn many hats and been involved with: C.C.D.; PTA; Cub Scouts; Boy Scouts; Brownies and Girl Scouts; WW Marching Band; the American Legion Auxiliary, where she served as President; and the Marketing Committee of the National Association of Mothers' Centers. She is also well known for her years of commitment to the Yoga community. A recognized and respected practitioner, she recently completed a two-year program for qualification as a Registered Yoga Teacher and teaches a weekly Restorative Yoga class. She also serves as Membership Chair, Board of Directors, New York Yoga Teachers Association.

Training with a physician who has a holistic medical practice and is a qualified yoga instructor, Ellen now works with Dystonia patients through a Support Group at Beth Israel in New York City, and Down Syndrome young adults. She is also a Board member of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation - New
York Chapter.

Ellen is proud to say she is a Director-at-Large of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women. However, having been married a lifetime to her husband, Ken, she is most proud of her children Kevin & Dawn, and Diane & Mike. She is also the Chief Spoiler of little Meghan, her delicious granddaughter.
